System Engineer
Internal IT Operations needs to strengthen our departments support team.
We are now looking for a service-minded System engineer for our Internal IT Team. Our department is responsible for supporting all our users with the Internal business critical systems that we use. To fill the position, you should have several years of experience and extensive knowledge within the following competence areas:
System administration of Windows servers and clients and also from Unix/Linux based server systems
- End user support for applications
- Installation of hardware and software
- Evaluation of new products and solutions
- Purchasing equipment/applications
- Desirable knowledge: Active directory, MS Infrastructure related knowledge, General Linux/Unix system knowledge, Administration of virtual environments (VM-Ware based).
The team of system engineers is closely working together and are responsible for all our deliverables to bwinners. The team also walk on a rotating on-call schedule, responsible for internal applications, infrastructure in the office building and the availability for central systems 24/7.
We expect that you hold a similar position today and have experiences with most of the requirements in our profile description within a mid-sized company. If you are a person with a service-minded attitude that leaves internal customers satisfied and like to work in an interesting and sometimes hectic environment, then this could be the job for you. As an individual, you have a strong drive, structured and able to express yourself verbally/writing in both Swedish and English. You are also used to take initiative and complete your assignments in a professional manner.
